IMATS 2013 HAUL

Hey Everyone!
I went to IMATS Sydney last weekend. It was my first IMATS and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I will include as much information about each product as I can.
As soon as I arrived at IMATS I absolutely had to go to MAC. They had 20% off everything. It was hectic, the stall wasn't well managed as you had to ask 1 assistant out of about 70 customers. It was crazy, I was at that stall for an hour. There will be a few photos included at the bottom of the products. For swatches click on the links to each store.

From MAC I purchased:
- Lip Pencil   Soar
 Lip Pencil   Oak
- Lipstick    Candy Yum Yum
- Lipstick   Freckle Tone
- Mineralize Skin Finish Natural ( In the colour medium)
-Powder Blush ( Style Frost)
- Mac 6 insert Palette
- something special   cream blush
-  so sweet, so easy   cream blush
*** For prices go to http://www.maccosmetics.com.au/ The MAC store at IMATS had 20% off

When I got to the Inglot store it was also crazy. Except it managed their store the best as you needed to place an order ; while they were making your order you could look at other stores rather than wait hours in line.
I purchased:
-Blush 45
-Blush 36
- Pressed Powder (55)
- Loose powder (12)

Girlee Cosmetics
- i pallette ( also known as a z pallette) $15

Make Up Net (Australian Lime Crime Reseller)
- Lipstick ~ Geradium
- Lipstick~ D'Lilac
- Lipstick  ~No She didn't
The IMATS special for the lipsticks was reduced to $17 each .

I also went to a store called The Makeup Foundation, and I purchased my eyeshadows, creame blushes, concealers and powders for my z palette. The palette that I purchased from Girlee cosmetics fits 15 of these fill ins:
- Cream Blush ~ Princess
- Cream Blush ~ Naked
- Powder Blush ~  Scarlet
- Translucent Powder ~ Translucent
- Corrective Concealer~  Yellow
- Eye Shadow ~ Breeze
- Eye Shadow ~ Lemon
- Eyeshadow ~ Enchanted
- Eyeshadow ~ Energy
-Eyeshadow ~ Psychic
-Eyeshadow ~ Liberty
- Eyeshadow ~ Aquatic

From Scottys Makeup I bought OCC lip tars! You can't buy them in stores in Australia so I was super excited to stock up on them. Except they were $20 each!!!! The discontinued ones were $16 - $18 each. So I only bought 3 lip tars. Last year I heard they were only $15 but this year the prices were very inflated.
Queen
Hush
Femme

I also purchased 3 beauty blenders 3 for $20 or 1 for $8
2 Pink
1 black

And Finally you can't leave IMATS without picking up brushes
I chose Crown brush. They were more pricey than Royal and Langnickel.

- Oval Fluff Brush  - Perfectly pink series
- Dual Length Powder Brush - Perfectly pink series
- Brow Lash groomer - Black
- Round Angle Blender

i recommend washing the brushes before use as they do shed a lot.

Max Factor Pancake Foundation

Hey everyone,

Todays review is the "Max Factor Pancake foundation"
This is in the natural tan. I will include swatches down below. I bought this foundation because last month especially, I was in many stage performances. This foundation gives maximum coverage and can be layered to match more to your skin tone. Of course you need to match the colour to your skin, but it matches fairly well. It is perfect to be worn on stage and brings out your face perfectly. When I purchase foundations I sometimes get breakouts. This foundation didn't give me that and I think its an amazing foundation.

Tips for When applying:
Use a damp sponge for light coverage or wet sponge for full.

Price: $12.00 +
Rating: 10/10
Overview:
full coverage, no blocked pores, you can layer it on to suit it more to your skin tone.
Good for stage , affordable
Only bad thing about this product is that you hit the oan pretty soon. So this product runs out pretty quickly if worn daily.

Benefit Thrrrob Review

Hi everyone!
Todays review is on the Benefit "Thrrrob" box o powder. The Majority of Benefit's box powders are amazing. Except I find 'Thrrrob' to be a huge let down. It gives limited coverage and when wearing the product you can't visibly see it, only a slight shimmer on your cheek bones. I have tried it on other skin tones and types but it doesn't turn up on even that. Its unfortunate because the colour of the blush is cute and just doesn't work well. Especially since other reviews suggest its "amazing" but I'm here to tell you of my "REAL" experience with these products.

Price: $28.00 AUS
or with the Hoola bronzer and Thrrrob Blush in a set $52.00 AUS

My Rating: 6/10 only because it came with the Hoola bronzer in a set and the both together was worth it.
Sorry this was such a short video, I didn't have much to say about this :)

Benefit Hoola Bronzer Review

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had an awesome weekend, and are ready for next week.
So today I am reviewing the 'Benefit Hoola Bronzer.'
It's a a matte bronzer and it amazing for contouring. It compliments most skin tones and I recommend this especially if you don't like shimmery bronzers. It gives amazing coverage, though I recommend using a Sigma F05 contouring brush http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=447293
as the brush that it comes with isn't the best.

Its price is $28.00 from benefit online. And for those buying in Australian stores such as Myer, the Benefit Hoola bronzer ranges from $50-52. I recommend buying it online in a set with 'thrrrob' to save money. The only imperfection to the Hoola bronzer is that there isn't enough of it! The packaging is great and benefit is an overall high end brand.
Well Done Benefit

My rating is: 9.5/10
Full coverage
28.00 BENEFIT

Comment down below to see swatches. I'll be posting them ASAP
